First, the legal stuff:
I am a practicing real estate agent in the state of Missouri. Anything on this blog is merely my opinion as a Realtor. If you ever are interested in further exploration or action on any subject I discuss other than real estate, you should always seek out a professional in that field for advice and counsel first.
With that out of the way, I’ve been in real estate since 2003. I first came into the practice after having spent years in media sales, selling ads to -who else?- Realtors! Someone pointed out that since I was already doing a large part of the job-promotion of the properties for sale- why wasn’t I selling them myself? I am always glad I listened to the advice.
I have had a tremendous amount of success doing what I do and I am thankful every day I get to work in the field. I have never known a more rewarding line of work– very likely because this has never felt like work to me (Working often seven days a week, I can assure you, it is- I just happen to like it)!
I am a U.S. Army Veteran- I served in the Armored Cavalry on the then-East-West German border in the Fulda Gap as a Cavalry Scout (“I drove a tank” would be the short version).
I am a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia from the Journalism School, Magazine sequence.
I have several years experience in media sales and have worked for both the Tribune and the Missourian in my time in Columbia.
I started this page out of a desire to inform people of the many interesting things I have seen in real estate. To me, every day showing homes is like an opportunity to walk through one of the most diverse and compelling museums on the planet. Just as every person is different, so to are the homes they create.
It is ever an opportunity to see what they can build and dream.
